Kanombe airport now has a huge screen that is used to detect a fever from the incoming passengers. This is one of the measures put at the airport as ways of fighting Coronavirus.
Passengers coming through Kanombe international airport undergo mandatory checks and give information about where they are from before being given
the hand sanitizer to use.
Nurses are also at standby to should any of the cameras detect anyone with unusual temperatures.
Some of the passengers applauded the measures put in place to fight coronavirus.
Dr José Nyamusore Division Manager Epidemic Surveillance and Response at
the Rwanda biomedical center says that technology has proved to be very
effective when it comes to testing the virus.
He said: "We use technology via the cameras which have sensors which detect the fever
if you have any, it is indicated on the screens. if the fever is about 38
degrees then the passenger is put aside and asked questions before they are
