Local Residents living close to the Akagera National Park have noted that their goods and services are going to be in high demand again, following the resumption of tourism activities.
Some of these businesses say that Hotels and Tourists are their biggest
clients.
Most of the commercial activities taking place around the Akagera National Park are dominated by honey production that has a large market in hotels operating in and outside the park; fish farming, chicken and egg farming, jewellery and craft trade and other tourist attractions.
