10 new envoys present credentials to President Kagame

This Wednesday, 10 New Ambassadors presented their Credentials to President Paul Kagame and committed to work for even better bilateral relations between their respective countries and Rwanda, while supporting the country's development efforts.

After presenting his credentials to the Head of State, Masahiro Imai, Japan's new Ambassador to Rwanda said he is going to work towards increasing Investment between the two countries.

Rita Swan, Finland's new Ambassador to Rwanda with Residence in Dar Es Salam said her efforts will be directed towards supporting Rwanda's Energy and Education Sectors.

Another Ambassador with Residence in Dar Es Salam to present his credentials was Malawi's Glad Ghembe Muthali.

Other Diplomats to present their credentials were Sierra Leone's New Ambassador with Residence in Nairobi, Niger's Ambassador with Residence in Addis Ababa and Georgia's new Ambassador also with Residence in Addis Ababa.

Ganou D.K. Madina, Burkina Faso's New Ambassador with residence in Nairobi noted on the good relations that exist between her country and Rwanda.

"There is a lot Rwanda can collaborate on with Burkina Faso, such as the promotion of culture. At the Cultural Festivals last year in my country, Rwanda was invited to participate as an honorary guest,” Ganou said

He added, “We can also exchange expertise when it comes to the agricultural sector. In Burkina Faso, we really heavily on irrigation and we can also work together when it comes to things like education and trade,"

Italy and Rwanda have worked together extensively in the past when it comes to security, food processing and construction and Massimiliano Mazzanti, the country's new Ambassador with Residence in Kampala says it is also time to focus on Tourism.

Other Diplomats to present their credentials as new Ambassadors came from Denmark and the Czech Republic; with Residence in Kampala and Nairobi respectively.
